The Greetwell Plate: June
Greetwell’s summer forecast is in: Sunny with a chance of saving money ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️
We are already another month into 2025 and here is our June recap! Its been a busy (and HOT) month with lots of trips out of the office. We also have a roundup of some key dates to look out for next month. Let’s see what Greetwell has served up, shall we?
The Care Home Catering Forum enlightened us in some interesting talks, as always! There was some great things from the OHK team as well as The Burnt Chef Project® and Middleton Hall Retirement Village. Overall it was a really insightful day!
A farm visit to Courteenhall Estate hosted by Love British Foodtaught us how regenerative farming can inspire and change mindsets! We learnt all about crops, nature corridors and dung beetles! It was great to join the dots between farming, health and sustainability and meeting other public sector food professionals.
We also made a feature in Care Home Magazinewith an article about how we can help cost control, consolidating invoices and access to a catering management software.
(Did we mention it’s all free?)
If you are interested in saving your business money, get in contact today and see what we can do for you! Alongside this, we sponsored Care Home of the Month, with a big congratulations to Welwyn Grange (Ardale Group) for being selected. If you want to read all about it, click here.
Then we got back into socialising and networking at the annual Creed Food Festival, which was equally hot as it was enjoyable! A massive thank you to the team at Creed Foodservice Ltd for putting on the event! It was a great day with some really exciting NPD on show – especially for the care sector.
And rounding off the week, we attended the South East Summer Seminar and Regional Heat! It was a great day and a huge congratulations to all the chefs who competed! It was amazing to see the energy, talent and ideas in one room as well the dishes they made. We are excited for the finals in October. 🧑🍳 🍽️
Told you it was a busy one!
